Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchase Purchased 5-step Aluminium Ladder and was so very pleased. Is lightweight but feels very sturdy. Bought to replace recessed ceiling lights which I could not reach with smaller ladders and the extra top handrail is wonderful to give you the confidence to climb higher. I would definitely recommend this ladder and The Container Store. May 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by 5-step ladder is great So much easier to use than my old aluminum ladder. I wanted one that is lightweight and easy to close without smashing your fingers. This is it. Very easy to open and close and the steps are plenty wide. Very satisfied with this purchase. So much so, that I just ordered the 3-step ladder as well! April 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best ladder ever! So functional! This is very light so is perfect for any woman or small person who needs to climb a ladder to clean, switch ceiling light bulbs, etc. it is sturdy & also folds slim so it doesn't take much room to store! Love this 5 step(& also 3 step) ladder!!! December 16, 2015

Answer:
I weigh about 255 lbs. and don't feel unsafe at all on the 5 step ladder. It's easy to hold on to and get up high. We have 10 ft. ceilings and I'm only 5'7", so this is by far the best I've found for indoor use. It's lightweight and can hang from the end of an Elfa Shelf.
