Overview

Product Information

Our Pop-Open Sweater Dryer is a space-saving way to quickly and easily air-dry sweaters, hand washed items and lingerie. Sized to fit over or inside the bathtub, it springs open for use and folds flat for storage. A quick-release buckle and strap maintains the arched position, allowing for all-around airflow and faster drying of garments. Ideal for dorms and small apartments. To collapse the dryer for storage, place your hands on either side of the oval as if driving a steering wheel. Then twist one hand forward, the other hand backward. The dryer will compress in on itself. Secure the folded dryer with the snap closure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hard to fold back up! While they do work well, they are hard to fold back up! January 27, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by do not buy It is not a seamless loop. It has a seam & is not connected. I got these this week and went to use it today. Will be returning. Total garbage. Wont stand up, totally collapses. Needs to be a continuous loop so it doesn't collapse. January 23, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pop-Open Sweater Dryer It was great for drying my sweater but I couldn't close it. There aren't any directions of how to close it. Now I have a problem storing it. December 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by works well This works great, and I love that it collapses down. This works just like those car window shades. Just be careful when you open it to hold it FAR from your face! April 7, 2015

This seems to be a common problem, it would be nice if folding instructions were included.

Answer:
I agree - there's definitely a trick to it. I learned this from using those big car shades: Hold the dryer where the oblong shape lays horizontally as the wide part (as opposed to tall). Grasp in bottom two corners. Fold inward like a taco. As the sides fold inward, the top should fold downward because of the tension. All the folds start to resemble 3 small circles, about 8-10 inches in diameter. Grasp them all together, and put the band around it.

In order to collapse the stiff frame, place your hands on either side of the oval as if driving a steering wheel. Then twist one hand forward & one hand backward. The item will compress in on itself and you may hold it in place with the snap closure.
