Yes, this silicone mat is fun and flexible, and you can roll it, and you can use it as a trivet... but IT STINKS AT DRYING YOUR DISHES. We'll leave our cups, pots, flatware and utensils on the mat overnight, and 12 hours layer everything is still wet! Part of the problem could be that the ridges aren't deep enough, but I think the main reason is the normal water-repelling properties of silicone. Rather than assist gravity in pulling the water away, it keeps the water there, reducing the space for air flow and evaporation. Oh, and forget about rolling it up for storage - it will never be dry enough!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SNBooks I bought two of these for my kitchen counter. So far, they work great. I don't have to worry about mold like I did with the cloth drying mats.

Hubby and I now have granite counters - and the fabric covered mats weren't cutting it. Besides, they didn't let glassware dry on the inside. This mat does it all! It has raised parts that hold your dishes out of any draining water and let's them dry completely. I bought two to cover a wider area. I wish they came in different sizes and a different color other than the industrial clear gray.
