Rated 5 out of 5 by Silver Cleaning Made Easy I've used other brands but this product makes cleaning silverware quiet simple. I bought this jar as a 'gift' for my niece to go along with her grandmother's silver. December 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Product Listen up Ladies and Gents: If you have silver to clean this is one of the products you MUST try! I had neglected my inherited silver until it was black. I used this product and the results were fantastic! I highly recommend this product however check out my review on the Silversmith's Spray polish!! It is a MUST Read!!!! June 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Silver Polish I've Ever Tried I forgot how frustrating polishing silver can be until I polished some for my mom, using a different silver cleaner. It's a messy job - you end up having to constantly switch rags or sponges while just cleaning one piece, and my hands always turned black from the tarnish. I'm also an idiot, and would always end up touching my nose or a light switch during the process, getting little grey smudges everywhere. Somehow, that's not the case with this polish. I think there's some kind of gentle detergent mixed in with the silver polishing ingredients, because it foams when you mix it with water, like soap. Whatever it is, it works! The tarnish rinses off of the rag easily, which means the job is done faster and with less frustration. It's also effective, and doesn't have an offensively strong smell. I bought my mom some of this stuff, and I think she might actually polish her own silver now, ha. April 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Easy to use and Easy Clean Up! I used this foam to polish up some vintage jewelry that has been in the family. A bracelet from the 1920's and a Pocket watch from the 1800's. I also used it on some modern, silver plate, pieces that I simply hadn't worn in a while. It was a simple as apply and wipe off. The watch was very very tarnished. I didn't want to clean it too vigorously with anything I figured I'd put the polish on and rub it off, if that got a little bit of tarnish off I would be happy. I was amazed when I lightly rubbed it of and the watch looked like new! I couldn't believe it. I have "not so fond" memories of polishing silver before family holiday meals with this icky cake like waxy stuff. This experience was so fun I was actually sad when I ran out of silver things to polish! December 6, 2012

Answer:
You may want to try placing the container in a bowl full of warm water to try and soften the foam. We do not recommend placing this product in the microwave or exposing it to boiling temperatures.
