Rated 5 out of 5 by Storage Problem Solved After a great deal of research I discovered these Lynk storage products and on inspection was immediately interested. I purchased and installed one initial unit and rushed back for more to complete all of the lower cabinets in our kitchen. These are very well built, come in a variety of useful sizes, and are an attractive and excellent solution to lower cabinet storage needs that offers easy access to our kitchen utensils. The shelve action is smooth and very sturdy; they easily handle appliances such as blenders and mixers, and are so very easy to install !! Don't pass these shelves up if you are looking for a clean and effective, easily maintained solution to lower cabinet organizers. August 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by make it easier on yourself We are retired in Florida and neither of us enjoy bending & taking out heavy stacks of pots to get the one we need. Put two of these in our bottom cabinets. They held all my heavy pots and made everyday cooking easier. They glide really well. If you can lie on the floor and use a drill for bottom cabinets, you can install them. We can't do the lying on the floor much. So, we had them installed by a skilled handyman when we had other jobs. Took maybe 20 minutes to a half hour including reading instructions. April 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful! These drawers are the best! I have looked for over 3 years to find ones that are sturdy enough to handle food processors, cast iron pans, vitamix and other kitchen appliances. The other ones always broke down. I have had these wonderful drawers for 5 years now and, as we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, I can tell you that when we are done I will need to order more! March 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Keeps Pots Organized Very good investment. Keeps your pots together and organized September 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by 8 Lower Kitchen Cabinets Compl w Chrome Roll Outs I looked online for chrome kitchen roll-out cabinet drawers that would be easy to install. So many looked so complicated. I came across these Lynx Chrome Roll-Outs on utube. I have never used an electric screw driver before but bought a small one easy to handle w lights. I installed 16 chrome roll-out drawers from the Container Store and it went very quickly. A lot of the time when I start a job it doesn't finished right away. But these were so easy to do with the enclosed template that it all went extremely fast. I am very happy with how everything looks and that I now have all my items right at my fingertips and don't have to kneel and look for stuff in the back of the lower cabinets. September 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect! I purchased two of these sliding drawers for my bottom cabinets. They were super easy and fast to install and they glide like they are on butter. No more wondering what is in the back of the cabinets (the abyss) and no more crawling on my hands and knees to find something. They don't take up a lot of extra space. The fit is very efficient and I was able to fit so much in each drawer. Since they fit low to the cabinet, I was able to stack things without it hitting the top of my other cabinet. When measuring, make sure and take into account any door hinges. I'm getting more for me and some for my mom who's 81. Can't say enough good about them. Love, love, love them! I've never purchased anything at the Container Store that I didn't love. September 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by These are the best These racks are the sturdiest, most elegant racks I have ever seen. I purchased the first ones in 2014 for the pantry. I now have them under both kitchen and bathroom sinks also. No more stooping and trying to find the right bottle. The shelves glide easily out to me! I can see everything at once. August 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy installation This drawer works really well. i love the size of it, as it's hard to find a roll out in this size that doesn't cost the cost of a new drawer! the best thing for me is that i installed it myself! it was very easy to do so, yet the drawer is very sturdy. August 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Bought the 14", 17" and 20" size and they work just great. Easily installed. August 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy, attractive, and extremely helpful! I found the metal slide-out easy to install, and it especially makes it easier to get heavy Le Creuset pieces out of a lower cabinet! You do lose some inches of storage by using racks instead of open space, but the drawer function is a huge improvement over hauling heavy items out of back corners. I used metal for big items and the wood would work well for smaller things. August 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by best things ever I love these things. I have them in just about all of my lower cabinets in the house and these are for the pantry. my pantry is narrow but deep and so food can get lost or hard to reach in there back. with these you can easily acess all of the items quickly and easily. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great buy for my future... This is a great addition to my kitchen. I'm getting older than when we first moved here so being able to pull out my shelves instead of getting down on my knees to pull out containers from the back are two knee savers. At my age I definately appreciate this product. And they are well made, too. By the way, my daughter-in-law (Vickie) recommended this product to me. I love them! May 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love! Started with one and ended up purchasing additional! Easy to install and are great for deep cabinets! Heavy duty, well constructed. Thumbs up! January 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chrome Roll Out Cabinet Drawer Very good quality, smooth rolling that makes it such a pleasure to have in your cabinet! December 17, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed I used the drawers as a way to see and get to food items stored in high cabinets in our kitchen. I was disappointed with the drawer in two main areas. First, the basket is mounted above the roller/guides and thus you loose over 1 1/2 inches of storage height. This means the boxes of cereal etc. now have to stored on their side not upright. The roller/guides should have been mounted on the outside of the basket, giving up 3/4 inch of width but gaining 1 1/2 inch of storage height. Second the drawers do not fully extend, last 8 inches are still out of sight behind the walls. So I still can't see the items stored at the back. Need to select a different roller/guide that fully extends, maybe with only a little loss in storage weight, but for my application the food is very light, less than 15 lbs thus weight was never a problem. December 14, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good but check the screws Overall a good product. It didn't work in our kitchen because the shelf was too high and the sink valve got in the way. Lower profile would be better. Also we were provided incorrect screws. You need 8 screws to secure this. 4 wood and 4 machine. They provided 8 wood so I couldn't attach the shelf to the drawer slide assembly. Returned the product because it didn't fit. But pay attention to the screws. December 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Purchase I love this product. Easy to install. This was the answer to my problem reaching the back of a bottom cabinet shelf. December 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought an older home with a lot of lower cabinets. These drawers are wonderful. I put them in all my lower cabinets and now I can actually use them. They hold a lot of weight and roll smoothly. My husband even likes them. November 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great investment! This is exactly what I was looking for to organize the canned foods in my kitchen cabinet. It is heavy duty and rolls out smoothly to allow easy access to everything in the very back of the cabinet. I wish I had these in all my cabinets! June 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by installed in less than half an hour High quality drawer, glides smoothly, feels very sturdy. Best part: super easy to install - from gathering tools to cleaning up dust, all done in less than half an hour! June 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Roll Out Cabinet Drawers I put 2 of the 20" drawers in my kitchen and just installed 2-20s and 2-11s in my daughter's kitchen. These are the kinds of things you see in the kitchens of those houses you loved, but couldn't afford. The backbreaking reach to get that cast iron skillet in the back of your bottom cabinet will be just a memeory when you put these drawers to work for you. They have ball bearing support arms that hold them level and completely stable even when pulled all the way out. I wish I had gotten them years ago. I could have had a much easier time getting to my pots and pans. They could be used for anything really, but using them for the heavy stuff in your lower cabinets is where they really shine. Highly recommended. December 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect fit and perfect operation! I ordered 10 roll out shelves. They were the perfect size, installed easily and hold all my stuff that used to get lost at the back of the cabinet. My only regret is waiting so long to buy them. My life is much easier not having to crawl around on the floor looking in the deep beyond for lost items. October 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best purchase in a long time! I just love those roll-out drawers where you can see things at once. No more overlooked or forgotten items in the back! October 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super easy install! Installed for a client. So far so good. They are sturdy, super easy to install and they look really nice. Love them and so do my client. July 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to use For those cabinets where you have to put things in the front because you can't reach anything in the back, these are excellent. I have very deep cabinets and this product lets me utilize the entire cabine. July 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great buy These are quality cabinet drawers that were easy to install. I love them and highly recommend them. I wish they came in more sizes as I'd love to do more cabinets that are different sizes. July 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Satisfied! I purchased and installed 20 of the Roll-Out Cabinet Drawers in various sizes for my kitchen. I cannot tell you what a difference this made in my kitchen. All of the cabinets were so deep that I couldn't find things in the back and so many things were getting lost. Everything is organized and accessible now! I am so happy with this product!! The drawers are easy to install. And they are very strong, so they can hold a lot of dishes. The only downside to the drawers is that they do not have full extension, however, they work really well. I am very happy I bought this product!! June 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Takes up too much space This is a great looking product but it takes up too much height in my cabinets. I was going to put one on the bottom shelf and one on the top shelf but the slide out unit is 2 inches high so using both of them loses me 4 inches of shelf space. Had to return them for other units that are flush with bottom of cabinet. May 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this roll out drawer For Mother's Day my son installed a 17"W x21" D x 4" H roll out drawer for my heavy pots and pans. He said the installation was easy and I just love being able to pull out the drawer to easily reach even the heavier pots in the back. I will definitely purchase more for my other cabinets. And it is so much easier to keep the cabinet organized. Just love it! May 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic! This roll-out drawer is perfect! I have three deep cabinets. I had to use a flashlight to see what was in the back and then had to move other items to retrieve what I needed - not anymore! The drawers install easily and glide smoothly. I love mine and highly recommend them. May 5, 2014

Answer:
Measure cabinet opening to help decide what size drawer offers the best fit. Example: A 20" Chrome Rollout Drawer measures 20" wide x 21" deep x 4" high. A 21" inch cabinet opening will fit a 20" wide drawer.

Answer:
You must consider the cabinet opening as the shelves slide out through this opening.

Another thing to check is whether the cabinet door hinges sit proud of the side of the cabinet's interior side when opened, as this could impact the sliding shelve as it is extended through the opening.

Answer:
Use the cabinet door opening and take into consideration any hinges. When I opened my cabinet door, I measured from the edge of the opening to the edge of the hinge that was on the door, NOT the inside of the cabinet. Make sure there is just a tad extra room on each side of sliding drawer so it won't hit the edge of the opening or the hinge when sliding in and out.

Answer:
Yes, but make sure that you measure the side to side OPENING, between the hinges, not just the inside cabinet width. Where the racks slide out, the sides need to clear your hinges. I have a 23" opening between the hinges and use 2 11" racks. They would work fine with 1/2" less width, so if you have 34.5" at the narrowest point (between hinges), then 20 and 14 would work. Check out the photo.

I lost about 3 inches "in the back" because of another shelf. Before the added the drawer I was able to put a crock pot in back. In front my blender still fit.

I would still use this product but will try to rearrange my storage....I'm that pleased with the product.

I checked my 11" drawer and there was about 6" that remained in the cabinet, however, it didn't impede the access to the contents in the back of the drawer. You could mount the bottom frame closer to the edge of the cabinet opening to make it pull out further. But I don't have any problems at all accessing my stuff.

Answer:
No you cannot. I had the same problem. The shelf is a half shelf so you can reach the stuff on the bottom shelf. Once you install this product you don't need the 1/2 shelf anymore because the lower one will now pull out, so I just installed the lower slider, then extended the upper shelf to the front and installed another slider on the newly extended upper shelf. Works like a dream.

Hi,

My cabinet opening is just a hair over 11", maybe 11 1/2" for some cabinets, and 11 1/4" for others. The interior of the cabinet is about 13". (I have more than enough depth.) Will the 11" roll out work in this situation?

Thanks.

Answer:
We suggest a 12" opening to make sure the drawer clears openings and hinges but the drawer is 11" wide and 4" tall when installed. An opening of 11.5" with hinges higher than 4" should work. Exact dimensions of each rollout drawer is available on the company website www.lynkinc.com under Lynk Professional/Support.

I've found the stated dimensions of these shelves to be accurate, and reflect the overall size of the installed unit.

You must also ensure you have considered your cabinet door hinges in your measurement; if they are slightly proud of the side of your cabinet when the door is open they could reduce your overall openings width and impact the shelves when extended.

We installed the shelves on the base of our floor level cabinets and although they were all large cabinet openings, I had to check several of them for this opening width as I installed two shelves side-by-side in a couple of the cabinets and had to reconfirm they would fit the combined width of the two units and spacing in between.

Answer:
My opening was about 11 1/2" or a tad more and my drawer fit perfectly. I just measured the actual drawer and it was 10 3/4" so I had almost an 1/2" to play with on both sides and it worked beautifully. Make sure you take into account any hinges that stick out on the door side.

Hi, can this be installed upside down, at the top of the cabinet. That way you coud use S hooks and hang pans and slide out of cabinet to reach whatever pan you need.

Answer:
I haven't and in my case wouldn't consider doing this although I'd imagine these could be installed upside down. There are some issues you may wish to consider such as - thickness of the structure the unit is being secured to (1/2" screws are supplied), weight of hanging pans, noise of the clatter when accessing the pans, loss of storage space (stacking on the shelve is more compact). Good luck.

Answer:
I use them the usual way, but I think it would depend on what's above your cabinet, because the mounting screws might need to be more sturdily mounted than if you were depending on a gravity assist as in a right side up mounting. Also make sure that you have sufficient depth in an upper cabinet (which would be unusual). Also, be sure to check how much clearance you have for sliding out. Most cabinets have a shallow edge at the bottom front, and a much deeper one at the top!!!

Answer:
The Lynk Professional Rollout Drawers are designed to be mounted to a base shelf to hold appliances, pots & pans, and other items. The ball-bearing should operate upside-down but it is not designed for this use and the supplied screws are not intended for use in mounting under a shelf.
