Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Handy I've bought a few packages of these Kableflags to use on my computer cables, as well as to identify the multitude of wires & cables from my husband's electronic equipment. Love how easy it is to use, but wish they also made them with larger flags that were two-sided to write on. When working with electronics I'd like to mark one side with the name of the equipment, and the other with the ID of where the cable is plugged into the back of that equipment. Since these are small and one -sided it's hard to write all the info you need, even if being creative. Otherwise, these are great. They all look so neatly aligned when on the wires. April 21, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good So Far! I used container store label make to label them so we'll have to see with time how they hold up on them. If not then I'll have to torture them with my awful handwriting. July 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love These I have these on all my electronic cords, portable and non-portable. Makes it so much easier when I have to move or unplug items. March 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Moving made easier! Before I moved, I used Kableflags to label the many cords behind my computer/phone/U-verse setup and (complicated) TV/DVD/DVR/RF converter setup. I wondered if taking the time to label everything when I was busy packing would be worth it, but it definitely was. I ended up using 40 Kableflags total, labeling both ends of most cords with things like "wall," "power strip," and "CPU bottom" to try to make it as clear to myself as possible where everything went. Setting everything up in my new home was a breeze. When the AT&T rep came to activate my U-verse, he was amazed and said I practically could have activated it myself because everything was already properly connected. The only cons are minor. My thumbs and fingers got a little sore after a while pulling the ends of the Kableflags through the holes to attach them to the cords, and there's not much room on the flags to write, so you have to get creative about labeling. HOW EASILY DO THESE FLAGS COME OFF?

I want this kableflag not only to place on the cables that are in the electrical outlets, but also to place them on each of my portable cables (for camera, gps, laptop, tablet, cell, etc;). How easily do the flags rip/tear/come off? Portability might be a liability for the kind of use I intend to employ this item for. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
The flags stay put. I have them on most of the cables I travel with and none has ever torn off. Make sure to write on them with a non-bleeding pen though. The surface tends to "blur" the writing over time. Hope this helps.

Answer:
Each Kableflag is one flexible piece that loops through itself. To use, simply loop the Kableflag around the cable and pull the flag through the hole at the opposite end. To remove, manually remove the flag tip from the hole.

Answer:
They are made of rubber so you slip the tag side through the hole on the other end. Won't come off unless you try to pull the tag back through the hole, which should only happen if you physically do it yourself. Being rubber, it rubs against itself so it wouldn't slide out easily. Also shouldn't tear unless something really got a hold on it and pulled really hard. They are pretty sturdy but still pliable. These should hold up great in a move.
