I used this perfect white oval bin for my daughter-in-law's bridal shower. I love hosting bridal and baby showers, and try very hard to connect the favor to the guest of honor. My daughter-in-law advocates "going green," so I made my own all natural cleaner and put it in The Container Store 12 oz. Spray Bottle which sits very nicely in the middle of The Container Store White Oval Enameled Metal Bin. On one side of the bottle, I placed a set of pink sponges tied with a white ribbon. On the other side, I placed a white microfiber cloth rolled and tied with a pink ribbon. Then I added pink shredded paper stuffing. Everything fit perfectly in the bin. I added a removable "thank you" clear label to the front of the bin.
I also tried using The Container Store Mini Tote and Large Zig Zag Pot, which worked well holding all the contents, but I liked the oval metal bin the best. I knew that all of the guest, ranging in age from 30 to 90, would find the bin useful, because it has so many uses! Everyone loved their favor!! :)

I grabbed this up to put on the kitchen counter by the sink. It perfectly holds the dish soap and hand soap dispensers and looks great! I got the sunny yellow.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RedheadedRealtor TMI use, but works great
I bought this for another purpose but it didn't work but I found another great, albeit, TMI (too much information, haha) use for it- as a tampon holder! I like to buy my tampons in bulk as its cheaper and I have to buy less boxes a year, but lugging a giant box that proudly proclaims TAMPONS! out to sit by the toilet once a month isn't ideal. This little metal bin holds a nice amount of tampons (laid out horizontally on the bottom) as well as a number of wrapped packets of thin pantyliners (about 2 cycles worth). I keep the bin in my tall bathroom cabinet and then just take it out monthly and sit it on the back of the toilet - easy to grab, no fumbling with opening & closing a cardboard box, and looks cute (well, as much as it can for it's purpose) and then just put it up when finished. Keep in mind, I only do this in my master bedroom en-suite bath, not the other two that guests might use. My Hubs had never said one word about it so it appears to be a non-issue with him!
