Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tazzmeyer How can a door stop make me so happy!
As a rule, I HATE doorstops. Most are just really ugly but they are a necessary evil in my little 1920's bungalow. Normal doorstops are too small because the doors in my house are cut higher...I longed for a product that I saw in Europe years ago that would be perfect for my quirky doors...and voila! The Container Store had them! This is truly the best door stop ever!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ManhattanMom Excellent for doors with large gaps at bottom
I have tried 3 or 4 different door stops for a heavy door with a large gap at the bottom. This door stop is AMAZING! It doesn't slip and holds the heavy door with ease.

My bathroom door does not stay open. I have used several door stops they were ok but this one is great and looks great under the door. Also love that it is well out of the way and will not trip over it.

Bought this on vacation to use with my closet door, which won't stay open. Stoppy works great on the carpet and I just put a ribbon on it and hang it from the coat hook inside my closet.

This works on difficult doors that we have, both with very high sills and very low, and on very slippery waxed floors.

Using this in the bathroom, the room is small and the door is not level (old house) it does a fantastic job of keeping the door open and giving us maximum space.

I bought 2 of these about 2 years ago and they use to work just great. However, I recently moved and now have doors that have close automatically. And these door stops cannot keep the doors open despite the doors being very light.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by charm Great door stop
I have an old house with a door that doesn't seem to want to stay open. The last door stop I bought didn't work, so I thought I would give this one a try. It works great. I like the way it fits against the floor and the door. It takes up less space than the old one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by celticplaid I didn't think it would work, but AMAZING!!!!!!
We bought these for our doors that are kind of in a wind tunnel. Strong wind that was always blowing our doors closed. I didn't think they were going to work at first because our doors have a high clearance from the floor and such high gusts of wind! But they worked beautifully! And they have really lasted. We bought then over a year ago, use them all the time, and they still look brand new! And because of the shape, you don't hit them or walk into them, or even notice them when they are in use! I couldn't ask for a better product for this purpose.

The Stoppy works wonderfully on the hardwood floors in my house. It doesn't scuff up the floor but keeps my door shut tight at night, which is far preferable to its tendency to pop open and wake me up in a panic.

Stoppy is the best door stop. Fits doors of any size. I have purchased three of them.

This door jam is so cute and works better than any wedge. The flexible rubber makes it really stick. The unique shape works great for my door, which has a wide gap from the threshold.

I would have loved this little thing if it could do all the pictures show it can! I bought this specifically to hold one of my windows up (it slides down), and there's just no way it could work. I'm keeping it because I do have a draft and, previously, I would just use random inanimate objects to keep one of my doors open, but it definitely wouldn't work against keeping doors open/closed to pets or children, and I can't imagine it holding a heavy door open, as it just slides across the floor. It also would be nice it there were some way of hanging it on the doorknob when not in use, although i suppose I could attach a string to it to hang.

these do their job & keep our doors open even with wind...but they don't work when people push the door open (which is why i got them). they're cute & hang nicely on door stoppers when not in use.
my kids love them and wanted for their rooms!

Great for a door with a significant space between the bottom and the floor. Holds the door open all the way, perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Homeboken Works great on metal door
We have a metal/steel door that automatically swings shut and is 2 inches off the floor. This has been the only doorstop that has held it open without slowly sliding closed. Love it! And its small and better looking than the rubber triangle stops.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by nslnswetie Great little stopper
I liked this door stop because it's more attractive than the triangular brown ones. With it, I'm able to prop my back door open enough for my dog to acces his dog door but not so much that it looks like my door is proped open. It grips firm to my carpet, but is easy to pick up and readjust.

I have purchased over 6 months ago and going to buy more. I use it for my bathroom and bedroom door which tend to close by themselves and I like doors open.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by KayeJaye Cute but doesn't work
I needed a door stop for my front door and loved the modern style of this. But it is not strong enough to hold the door -- it scoots across the wood floor and the door slams shut again within a minute or two. It might be strong enough to hold a very light closet or interior door, but I have none to test it with. I would return it immediately if I hadn't already torn the packaging off (the only way to use it). Would not recommend.
