In white this looks remarkably like a hospital commode. However it's great in a bright color and in the right setting -- a breakfast table or a kid's desk. The flexing of the back is nice except there is still a hard "bar" up against the back. The seat is hard as a rock and as a size 6 woman I can say I wouldn't want to be a lot larger and sit in it as the bottom is curved (narrow when sitting) although others don't seem to mind. The front of the seat digs into the thigh for me as I am 5'5" if you are taller that won't be an issue. It's cold to sit on as any plastic chair is. I love the softly undulating curves and wonderful use of negative space. It's just not that comfortable and I wouldn't want to sit in it all day long. It's light as a feather and great for occasional extra seating or short stints like a breakfast table. It also slopes back (slightly) like a lounge chair which is not conducive to working at a desk or even eating really. Which is why there are desk chairs and dining chairs. This is a lounge chair. Lovely piece of sculpture for a dull corner or bedroom to use once in a while. I do think this is a classic design. Saw it in a magazine layout with a sheepskin tossed over it and it looked awesome by the way.

for an older person with a plethora of back problems, these chairs are heaven. body-conforming, lightweight , easily moveable and no soft plushy cushions that you can't get out of. futuristic looking, but I use them alongside antiques and everyone 'ohs' and ahs over their comfort and adaptability. thank karim rashid.

I'd been eyeing this chair for a while for my home office. I love the new matching white legs on this version. It's super comfy, stylish, and affordable and looks great with my modern decor. What more can you ask for?
