Rated 1 out of 5Â by OrganizingTexan These are terrible.
They grip fine, but they slide all around the tubular hangers. Very disappointed in these!

I read the reviews before I bought them and decided to try them anyways. I'm glad I did. I have only flocked hangers and these clips stay put on them. They don't slide around at all. They are also strong enough to hang onto thick waistbands. I'm really pleased with them.

This is the first item from CS that really disappointed me. I have CS hangers, but these are not as secure as they should be and they don't grip that well. I've bought a similar item from a discount store for MUCH less and they performed about the same. I bought several of these but they are going back. Not worth it.

These do hang on to some of my skirts and strapless dresses, however they slide to one side ALL THE TIME; no matter the weight or stretch of the clothing. I hot-glued them in place to prevent sliding but the clips themselves are weak and I'm still having issues with them. I have to move clothing in that part of the closet with caution so as not to disturb these too much. I would prefer a better version of this clip.

Love love love these! They work well with the heavy duty plastic hangers. Will not slide unless you manually move them yourself. Perfect addition to my large collection of hangers...saves me money not having to purchase more hangers.

I was really excited when I purchased these clips. Thought I would finally reduce some of the clutter in my closet by using these nifty inventions; however, mine were sliding around and never stayed in place rendering them useless. These clips need rubber to be able to stay in place.

I bought these clips to attach skirts and pants to the hangers. They are made well and do the job just fine. Attaches to hanger.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by JENNUHFURR Work well when you glue them to the hanger!
Mine were sliding around all over the place on my plastic hangers but then I decided to just hot glue them to the hangers! They work great now!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ldgtreke4 these are fantastic
These clever little things are so fantastic! They fit snuggly onto tubular hangers & slide to adjust to different widths! I was having trouble finding hangers with these on them already where the top/blouse I had on hanger wouldn't fall off! These definitely do the trick! I would reccommend these to anyone! They are well worth the small price!

I do use those on The Container Store hangers (which are great), but the clips slide, so the skirt ends up on one side or the other of the hanger. In addition they take a lot of space. May be useful for something else than a skirt or pants?

Rated 1 out of 5Â by missbhavens Slippy-slidey and basically pointless
If I could go back in time and replace these with another similar product, I would, but none seem to exist. Also, I do not own a time machine. Love the tubular hangers, REALLY needed clips, but WOW these are the pits. I have great love for the Container Store, and I'm amazed they sell these. They do not fit the hangers snuggly, so your clothes can slide all down to one end of the hanger and get bunched up. Not aesthetically pleasing, not at all practical, and not remotely space saving. Me no likey. Alas, they're all I have.

I know others have said the clips slide ~ but mine are perfectly stable. Guess the 'trick' is to use the clips on Container Store tube hangers .......... ?? I just ordered a whole bunch more of these clips. They fit my need perfectly and allow me to continue to use the CS hangers ~ the only ones I'll allow in my house!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by KaylasMommy Super sliding clips
Horrible! Simply horrible! I love the hangers, but these clips slide all over the place. I cannot get a skirt to stay where I put it with these. The clips slide toward each other on the hanger, and the fabric ends up bunched up in the middle. Do not waste your money on these!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by TCSFAN Great for drying racks, too
These are terrific for use on drying racks. They will easily hold running shorts, as well as delicates. There is a trick to attaching, and un-attaching, them, and they will stay there as long as you want. They do occasionally slide on the TCS tubular hangers; just try another hanger or another clip. All skirt hangers take up a certain amount of space in a closet.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by ClipHater AVOID!
These things are terrible, and I would return them if I could. They attach to the tubular hangers quite easily, but they slide around all over the place! They are clunky and cheap-feeling as well. What a waste! I wish I had spent the extra money for new hangers designed for the job.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Deirdre recommend, with a caveat
These are ok. They do the job, but quite a few of mine don't stay put near the ends of the hangers. So the clothers get a litle crushed when the clips slide to the middle. I'd still recommend because it's nice being able to change the purpose of a hanger by just adding/removing the clips... beats having lots of extra hangers lying around, when you don't have much closet space.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Dora More bother than they are worth
These are clunky, hard to attach, and expensive. They take up way too much room in your closet. And they are not as "super hold" as you would wish. Buy hangers that are MADE for these jobs.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by cookincrazy Not so good
Yes, they work on the heavy duty hangars, but there is only one color - white. I have black hangars. I tried them anyway. Once you learn the trick of putting them on the hangars they are OK, if you have the room in your closet to leave a couple inches between hangars. (You know those perfect looking closets that are in magazines where the clothes don't touch.) If you don't leave the room between the hangars with the clips, the clips get tangled up when trying to hang clothes up or take them down. I try to hang all my skirts in one place and shorts in one place. These don't work for that unless, as I said yhou have a huge closet and don't have to hang things fairly close together.
