Rated 5 out of 5Â by sparkeyjack Love this trash can!
I bough three of these trash cans because I have two dogs who love to eat my bathroom trash and I was tired of living with the doors closed all the time. These are perfect - secure and stable. If the dogs knock them over, which is difficult, the lids stay closed so they can't get inside them. Even my Jack Russell can't outsmart me this time - ha ha! Best purchase I've made in a long time and well worth the price.

Perfect size for bathroom , and totally silent. Wanted a lidded container, but no clang when it closed. This is it!

This is my fifth simple human trash can and I love them! This one is for my laundry room and fits perfectly between the end of my cabinet and the washer and works great!

I need something narrow for the spot were i was going to use it. I needed something to fit in a small space to put my cans of cat food in. and this was just right. I can pull out the liner and demo it into the recycle bin when it is full. Most cans were to wide or not big enough to hold more than a few cans.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by OnlyHuman Great looking, great functionality, overpriced...
I live in a NYC apartment, so grocery bags have always been my preferred method of garbage disposal - they fit so nicely down the chute, and they're free! But they never really fit well in traditional garbage pails. Several years ago I bought one from another store, which I liked, but it was open at the top (can you say vermin attractor) and it was white, which after time became a permanent shade of gross. This one is great... except for the price, but it is the Container Store after all. Highly functional and very attractive (and I suspect easy to keep clean)! And even with bringing reusable bags to the supermarket and recycling other bags, there are still plenty for my household trash.
