Large Post-it® Pocket
I purchased these because they are advertised (as in the picture on the product) as something you mount to the wall (or inside a cabinet) to keep papers handy and visible. It wasn't until I was actually taking them out of the package and preparing to mount them that I realized the primary use of this product is as just an envelope, and mounting it to a wall/cabinet is a secondary option. The actual flap of the "envelope" is made in such a way that you have to fold the flap backward to mount it, causing the product to bulge outward. See, the adhesive is on the inside of the flap, so you can seal it like an envelope. So, it is an envelope that you "can" mount to a wall or cabinet - awkwardly.

Great hard-to-find product!
Even though they are a bit pricey, I use them inside almost every cabinet door I have; kitchen (for pasta and seasoning lists), den (important notes about tech stuff or warranties), laundry room (stain removal quick tips), garage (uses for WD40), bathroom (cleaning tips w/ baking soda and vinegar, homemade facial recipes). They will last a long time and I'll always have my tips or notes close to where I work. LOVE THEM!

The self adhesive strip is the problem
I bought the item from the Container Store recently. I stick the envelope to the precleaned surface firmly and stored a few envelope. But to my surprise, the pocket fell within an hour. The problem I found is that adhesive is not sufficient to bearing the weight and also adhesive strip should not be on the flap as it does not help it to stays in place. The product is poorly thought out.
