I had the White Elfa Walk In panty put in about 3 months ago and it was a GREAT purchase. We added value to our house by adding the storage. We are so happy with our purchase and I am very glad I purchased through The Container Store.

Finally organized

Modeled a hall closet off this design and everything goes in there.I have a mix of coats, stored items (ribbons, lighbulbs) a section for kitchen and cleaning overflow from warehouse shopping. Now whenever anyone is looking for something they check "the closet" first. I bought it during the annual sale but have gone back and purchased more since. Worth every penny,it is life and time saving organization.

Amazing!

Pros:Â can customize to suit needs, maximizes storage space, easy to install

Cons:Â none!

We purchased a variation of this system for our tiny pantry, which originally had four flimsy wire shelves and was just a storage nightmare! Thankfully, elfa came to our rescue and now we can't believe how much we can fit in our pantry! An extremely helpful Container Store employee helped us customize our design, and we now have six wooden shelves--four of which have sliding undermount mesh drawers. Everyone who opens our pantry door is amazed by the amount of storage we have!

Perfect Pantry

Pros:Â make heights and depths exactly as you need them

Cons:Â mesh drawers do not hold much weight

We had a pantry that was difficult to move around in. Sliding doors were an obstacle. So we gutted it, installed bi-fold doors, and made our Elfa pantry to meet our needs EXACTLY!

Elfa Platinum walk-in pantry

We just remodeled our home and decided to put in an Elfa pantry. We had never done it before and the design gal was great. We installed ourselves, directions were very simple. We are putting Elfa in all of our closets now.

My "pantry" is one wall of my kitchen where I wanted both a counter top for the coffee maker, and shelving. Please check out the photos, I am so proud of my wall!

I measured my surface, did some surfing, and went to consult with a Container Store rep at the store. They are so great, let me arrange my wall with what I needed under $500 (which was my goal--and it was the Elfa Sale). I had no problems putting it up all by myself--and my husband came home from work and said "Wow!" Great experience, and I LOVE it! Everything is organized, accessible and quick to get!

So proud of my Pantry

Pros:Â well built, adustable, can view everything with ease, eliminates the constant cleaning and organizing, time saver

My pantry has gone from an area that required constant organizing, and searching for items....to an area that seems to have triple the space with the maximum number of shelves, with drawers, spice racks, etc.

I can not view everything easily, and prepare meals faster, put things away quickly and it has become a space that I am proud of versus one that I feel embarrassed for guest to view. No more spending time cleaning before guests come over, as it stays clean and organized.

Give yourself the gift of time!

Best organizing system!

Pros:Â fast and easy weekend project

I was a terrible organizer by nature. Things just piled up and became unmanageable in an instant. Now I am going through my house installing drawers and shelves using this Elfa system and everything is looking so much better! My first step is emptying the whole closet and then painting the walls and fixing the floor. Next step measure and order the Elfa, then an easy instal (gets faster each time) and then the FUN of putting everything in its own place. I love the drawer labels, that keeps me organized! The spaces look so great I actually like being organized! Next step- the game room closet! I think I will paint it red. I always use the white drawers, with frosted liners, always looks so clean!!!!

TRULY OUR HOME'S WORKHORSE!

We live in a 1930's cottage, and we love it! The kitchen, however, is quite small and utilitarian (consistent with the era) with only a few cabinets. There is a small 4.5' x 8.0' walk-in breakfast room off to the side of the kitchen which we used as a pantry. However, it only had a few wooden, built-in shelves that were inefficient. We really needed that room to work a little harder.

After much research, obsessing, and a long courtship of shopping images at containerstore.com, we decided to ELFATIZE the space. We were expecting our first (of three children) and knew that space would be a much more expensive commodity in the coming years.

In 2007, we purchased a custom planned elfa solution that wrapped three of the four walls of our awkwardly shaped pantry area, and tried to keep it basic so that we could add on to it in the coming years. We could not be happier. On a good day there is NOTHING on our countertops, and everything has a home in the pantry. We store pots, pans, casserole dishes, china, bakeware, children's plates/cups, baby bottles, food, drinks, batteries, power cords, cleaning supplies, recycling, trash cans, pet food, boxes of pictures, wrapping paper, the kids' art (I could go on forever).

We now have three toddlers, and chaos is a given - but when I walk into the kitchen and the counter is clear, and I look in the pantry... I just feel a sense of calm. Often I stand and look and try to figure out ways to make it better! I think to myself, "I wonder what else I can put in there?"

The ventilated shelving wasn't a style issue for us, rather a necessity. I am not a good housekeeper, and traditional wood shelves would have required significant cleaning, dusting, and maintenance. That really isn't practical for me. I probably wouldn't have done it anyway, but with the ventilated shelving, the miscellaneous "shelf gravy" just falls to the floor - which is a much more practical issue to have.

I can't wait to see how this solution continues to evolve into a cleaner, even more organized space with products from the Container Store. Although I don't think our pantry will ever look the way the well-merchandised pantries do on the site, I feel like it truly is a work of art that is everchanging. And for now, until I have the time to further ELFATIZE the pantry, and other areas of our home, I will just continue to walk into the pantry for a moment of peace as I consider the possibilities!

Elfa Pantry

I absolutely love, love my new pantry! We just built a walk-in pantry and decided to check out Elfa for the shelving. It was the best decision we ever made. It was so easy to design and my husband installed it himself. I love that I could add additional shelving and change out the type of shelf ie. regular to a basket shelf.

We were in our first Container Store last weekend and was in Organization heaven! We came home and got online with one of your online experts and had a pantry designed and we picked it up and installed it the next weekend. We cannot say enough about how happy we are with the results. Your experts were so helpful and informative, the pickup process was a breeze, and the installation of the Elfa system was so easy! I cannot believe how much more usable space I have now. I am actually looking for more things to put in it now. We also bought some pull out systems for under our vanity and kitchen sink, and it is much easier to get to items now. My only wish is that a Container Store would come to my area now. But it was worth the 70 minute drive!

We had used Elfa systems in the past for our closets in our bedrooms but never used them for our pantry. I always thought the look of more custom shelving or period inspired shelving would be more attractive. I couldn't have been more wrong! When designing our new home to have a large walk in pantry our budget was an issue and we couldn't swing the custom look. Knowing how much I liked the Elfa in our bedroom closets I decided to try it our in our pantry. I will never go back to custom again! The versatility and strength of these units are unparalleled. Quick and easy to install ourselves, but my husband is a contractor, and when friends see me waltz into my pantry they are beyond envious. Will only ever do Elfa from here out.

I redid my pantry with elfa a few years ago it was the best solution. Before I had custom shelves from the builder of my home. Since elfa I have more space to store items and a full extra shelf . I had 5 and now I have 6 levels.
