Quantity: About 10 biscuits

Storing: Store in an airtight container.

Ingredients
1-3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
1/4 cup wheat bran
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup margarine, shortening, or meat drippings
1/2 cup beef or chicken stock
1 egg

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all dry ingredients. Add shortening or drippings. Blend until mixture resembles oatmeal. Mix in egg and enough stock to form a ball. Knead dough for 1 to 2 minutes, and roll out on a floured board to 1/2" thickness. Cut into bone-shaped cookies using a cookie cutter or shape by hand. Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet. Prick biscuits twice with a fork to form a dotted line down the middle. Re-roll scraps and make more biscuits until all dough is used. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
